U.K. Instruction Phases 1 & 2

This comprehensive course is specifically designed to encompass all the aspects and skills associated with the close/executive protection industry. The venue for the initial training is at the Imperial Hotel, Exmouth, a superb location in East Devon. Students will be accommodated in comfortably furnished en-suite rooms.

At the imperial Hotel, students will undergo a fully certified Emergency First Aid course, covering trauma and Extended Trauma. This realistic, in-depth First Aid training package concludes with a pratical and written examination approved b y the Health and Safety Executive, valid for three years.

Furthermore, students will also receive intensive instruction in bomb awareness and improvised Explosive Devices (IED) recognition, a necessary skill in today's turbulent environment. The instructor is an expert with over twenty year's experience in this specialised sphere of operations.

A minimal standard of personal fitness is expected from each student. Physical fitness will progress with continual assessment throughout the course. Combative skills such as Breakaway Techniques, Disarming drills and combinations are demonstrated and taught using the best skills from martial arts and unarmed combat.



U.S. Instruction Phases 3 & 4

The Holiday Inn, Huntington Beach, Southern California provides the setting for the final stages of training. It is a first class American hotel with en-suite, fully air-conditioned rooms and excellent facilities including a fitness centre, and indoor swimming pool and Jacuzzi.

Phase 3 begins with theoretical instruction of all the skills required by the C.P. Operative followed, in the afternoon, by practical exercise of the morning's instructions. The course will initially use the local area then progress into Beverley Hills and Rodeo drive to develop their abilities. Subjects include walking drills, vehicle Embus/Debus and situation Awareness training.

During the second week in the U.S.A. a thorough introduction to tactical driving commences with single car drills, advanced to multi-vehicle procedures. Driving will take place throughout Southern California including Los Angeles, San Diego and Palm Springs. (US driving restrictions apply)

Live firing restrictions imposed on all U.K, C.P training courses, does not apply to Airtight International Executive Protection Courses. A full two-day live firing package, culminating in vehicle anti-ambush drills, is conducted on a Us Law Enforcement authorised range. A fully qualified N.R.A. range officer controls all range work.

The course currently costs £2550 and is fully inclusive of:
US tax, flights, airport tax, course movements and accommodation (including Breakfast & evening meal)
Full Insurance to cover all aspects of the course (including travel insurance)

Deposit of £525 is required one-month prior to course start sate to guarantee flight-seat reservation. This, regrettably, is non-refundable.
